Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix well until evenly moistened.
- Press the crust mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate. Use the bottom of a measuring cup to firmly pack the crumbs.
- Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C), or until lightly golden.
- Let the crust cool completely before adding the filling.
- Make the filling: In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and peanut butter until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until combined.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until the filling is smooth and creamy.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the filling to set completely. Before serving, top with whipped cream and chopped peanuts (optional).
Notes
For a richer flavor, use salted peanut butter and reduce the added sugar slightly. You can also add a layer of chocolate ganache for an extra decadent treat!
