- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Step 2: In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, and Dijon mustard. Mix to form a paste.
- Step 3: Rub the herb mixture all over the beef tenderloin.
- Step 4: Place tenderloin on a roasting rack in a baking pan and pour beef broth into the bottom of the pan.
- Step 5: Roast for 25-35 minutes until internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
- Step 6: Let the tenderloin rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
- Step 7: Slice and serve with your favorite sides.

Consider marinating the tenderloin overnight for more flavor.
