  • 1 lb Pork Sausage Breakfast links or patties, removed from casings if using links
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. If using uncooked sausage, brown it in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Add the Bisquick baking mix and milk. Gently mix until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls using a cookie scoop or your hands.
  6. Place the sausage balls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Internal temperature should reach 160°F (71°C).
  8. Let the sausage balls cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of your favorite hot sauce. You can also experiment with different cheeses, such as Monterey Jack or pepper jack.
