- Wash and trim the green beans.
- Place the trimmed green beans in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce (if using), and garlic powder (if using).
- Pour the soup mixture evenly over the green beans in the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the green beans are tender.
- Stir in half of the French fried onions during the last 30 minutes of cooking time.
- Top with the remaining French fried onions during the last 10 minutes of cooking time.
- Serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
For a richer flavor, use homemade cream of mushroom soup. You can also add other vegetables like sliced mushrooms or diced onions. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
