- Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Use a spatula to mix until smooth.
- Step 2: Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x9-inch baking dish and press evenly into the bottom.
- Step 3: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chopped dark chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Step 4: Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Step 5: Sprinkle sea salt over the chocolate layer to taste.
- Step 6: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until set.
- Step 7: Cut into bars and serve or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
These bars can be made vegan by substituting the butter with a plant-based alternative. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
