Instructions
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Mix well.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
- Let the crust cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, melt chocolate chips in the microwave or double boiler.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in the melted chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt into the whipped cream.
- Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled crust.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings before serving, if desired.
Notes
For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semisweet. You can also add a pinch of espresso powder to the filling for an extra depth of flavor.
