  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Finely Chopped Celery
  • 1/4 cup Finely Chopped Red Onion
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Pecans or Walnuts optional
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Parsley optional, for garnish
  • Crackers, Breadsticks, or Vegetables for serving

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Plastic Wrap

Method

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded turkey, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, pecans (if using), sage, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and evenly distributed.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball. Using your hands or a piece of plastic wrap will help create a neater, more uniform ball.
  4. Cover the cheese ball tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the cheese ball to firm up.
  5. Before serving, garnish the cheese ball with chopped fresh parsley (if desired).
  6. Serve the turkey cheese ball with crackers, breadsticks, or your favorite vegetables for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, use leftover roasted turkey. You can also add other spices such as paprika or onion powder to taste. Consider adding a sprinkle of finely chopped chives for an extra layer of flavor and visual appeal.
