  • 8 ounces Cream cheese Softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Shredded cheddar cheese Or your favorite cheese, such as Monterey Jack or pepper jack
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions Finely chopped, for garnish
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Onion powder

Instructions
  1. Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving dish.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips or crackers.

Notes

For a spicier dip, use spicy sausage or add a pinch of cayenne pepper. You can also experiment with different cheeses or add other ingredients like jalapeƱos or diced green chilies for extra flavor.
