  • 2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 12 ounces Pork Sausage browned and drained
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, crumble the browned and drained sausage.
  3. Add Bisquick baking mix, milk, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper to the bowl.
  4. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls.
  6. Place the sausage balls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each ball.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm.

Notes

For spicier sausage balls, use hot Italian sausage. You can also experiment with different cheeses, such as Monterey Jack or pepper jack. Storing: Store leftover sausage balls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
