- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the drained whole kernel corn, creamed corn, flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, oil, and eggs.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey and melted butter.
- Pour the honey-butter mixture evenly over the top of the corn casserole.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For a richer flavor, use brown sugar instead of some of the honey. You can also add a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese on top before baking for an extra savory kick.
