Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup Peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk (any kind)
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips Optional, for melting and dipping
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Optional, for enhanced flavor
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt Optional, to balance sweetness

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Baking Sheet
  • Wax paper or parchment paper

Method

Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract (if using), and salt (if using).
  2. Mix thoroughly until a dough-like consistency forms. If the mixture is too dry, add a tablespoon of milk at a time until it comes together.
  3. Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
  4. Line a baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper.
  5. Place the peanut butter balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Optional: Melt chocolate chips according to package directions. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate and place back on the baking sheet to set.

Notes

Store leftover peanut butter balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet chocolate. You can also add chopped nuts or sprinkles to the balls before chilling.
