- Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup creamy peanut butter, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Using a spatula, mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Step 2: Stir in 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs until the mixture is well mixed. The crumbs provide a wonderful texture.
- Step 3: Grease your 9x9-inch baking dish and press the peanut butter mixture evenly into the bottom of the dish.
- Step 4: In a small saucepan over low heat, combine 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/4 cup heavy cream. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.
- Step 5: Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread it evenly.
- Step 6: Drizzle 1/2 cup caramel sauce over the chocolate layer and swirl it in gently.
- Step 7: Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of the caramel layer.
- Step 8: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
- Step 9: Once set, cut into squares and serve.
