- In your slow cooker, combine the milk, heavy cream, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Whisk everything together until well combined, ensuring no lumps of cocoa powder remain.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours, or until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth and warm.
- Stir occasionally, especially during the last hour, to prevent scorching and ensure even heating.
- Once the hot chocolate is ready, carefully remove it from the slow cooker. The handle will be hot!

Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. Adjust the sugar to your liking. You can also add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a spicy kick!
