Instructions
  1. Wash all fruits thoroughly under cold running water.
  2. Peel the orange, banana, and kiwi.
  3. Cut the apples into bite-sized pieces or wedges. Halve or quarter the strawberries.
  4. Arrange the fruit on a large platter, grouping similar colors or shapes together for a visually appealing display.
  5. Create ghost bananas: Use a spoon to make an indentation at the top of a banana; add a dollop of yogurt or whipped cream for the ghost’s body and chocolate chips for eyes.
  6. Make spider grapes: Arrange a small bunch of green grapes and use two chocolate chips for eyes on one or two grapes.
  7. Create orange pumpkins: Cut the orange into thick slices and arrange them to resemble pumpkins. Carve simple jack-o-lantern faces (adult supervision required).
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your spooky Halloween fruit platter!

Notes

Feel free to add other fruits to customize your platter. Consider using melon for additional spooky shapes. For younger children, omit the carving of the orange pumpkins.
