- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and stir in the black beans and corn.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a serving bowl.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions, and diced avocado.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
- Garnish with optional toppings such as shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, salsa, and jalapeƱos.
Notes
For a spicier dip, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or some chopped jalapeƱos. You can also substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef.
