  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 Taco seasoning packet
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 15 ounce can Black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 15 ounce can Corn drained
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Green onions chopped
  • 1 Avocado diced
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the black beans and corn.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture to a serving bowl.
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions, and diced avocado.
  6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
  7. Garnish with optional toppings such as shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, salsa, and jalapeƱos.

Notes

For a spicier dip, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or some chopped jalapeƱos. You can also substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef.
