Sugar Cookie Syrup
- Combine sugar, water, vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using) in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until sugar is dissolved and the mixture comes to a simmer.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
- Remove from heat and let cool completely.
Martini
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, vanilla liqueur, heavy cream, and sugar cookie syrup.
- Shake well until thoroughly chilled.
- Strain into a chilled martini glass.
- Top with whipped cream and garnish with crushed sugar cookies.
Notes
For a stronger cinnamon flavor, use a cinnamon stick instead of ground cinnamon in the syrup. Adjust the amount of heavy cream to your preference for desired creaminess.
