- Make the Vanilla Syrup: Combine sugar, water, and vanilla bean (or extract) in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
- Make the Sugar Cookie Crumble: Crush two sugar cookies into fine crumbs. Set aside.
- Chill a martini glass.
- Combine Martini Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, vanilla syrup, heavy cream, Angostura bitters, and cinnamon.
- Shake well: Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled.
- Strain and Serve: Strain into the chilled martini glass.
- Garnish: Sprinkle generously with the sugar cookie crumble.
Notes
For a stronger cinnamon flavor, add a cinnamon stick to the syrup while simmering. Adjust the amount of heavy cream to your preference for a creamier or less creamy cocktail. You can also use store-bought vanilla syrup if you are short on time.
