- Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or ziplock bag and rolling pin.
- In a large bowl, combine crushed Oreos, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms.
- Roll dough into small oval shapes for turkey bodies. Pinch off small pieces for heads and attach to one end of ovals.
- Place cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
- Melt white chocolate chips according to package directions. Drizzle melted chocolate over cookies to resemble feathers.
- Add mini chocolate chips for eyes, candy corn for wattles, and red and orange M&Ms for legs while chocolate is wet.
- Let chocolate set for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For easier handling, chill the dough for 15-20 minutes before shaping. You can use other candies to decorate your turkeys, get creative!
